Job Description

Objective

The Trade Marketing Executive is responsible for executing trade marketing initiatives to drive brand visibility, Influencer programmes, BTL activities across retail and distribution channels. This role acts as the bridge between the marketing and sales departments, ensuring that marketing campaigns are effectively adapted and implemented at the trade level.

Trade marketing professional with strong knowledge of retail operations, consumer behavior, and marketing analytics. Experienced in coordinating with cross-functional teams and external agencies.

Overall

  • Influencer Connect: Execution of Loyalty Programmes, Influencer Connect – Consultant / Electrician Meets.
  • Retail Activation: Manage in-store promotions, point-of-sale materials (POSM), merchandising, and product displays to optimize product visibility.
  • Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to provide them with tools, materials, and strategies to maximize sales effectiveness in the field.
  • Campaign Execution: Execute marketing campaigns at the channel level, ensuring they are well-integrated and impactful within retail environments.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to refine trade marketing approaches.
  • Budget Management: Plan and control trade marketing budgets for the assigned area; ensure optimal ROI for campaigns and activities.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams including sales, brand marketing, supply chain, and external agencies to ensure seamless execution.

Experience and Qualification

  • 5+ years of experience in trade marketing, sales, or brand management, preferably in consumer goods sectors.
  • Masters in Business Administration, or a related field. Strong knowledge of retail operations and consumer behavior. Proficiency in MS Office and marketing analytics tools.
